Thirteen supercars, including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Porsches, have been confiscated by police in response to allegations of reckless and antisocial driving on the M11.
Around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Essex Police were called to the motorway after receiving many calls from “concerned” members of the public regarding a convoy of fast automobiles heading north.
According to the force, the drivers were also charged with gathering in groups and utilising the hard shoulder to pass other automobiles.
According to witnesses, the cars were driving quickly before abruptly slowing down, and the drivers were allegedly braking hard and obstructing traffic, according to Essex Police.
At Junction 8, police stopped the cars and gave thirteen warnings for driving in an antisocial manner.
“The behaviour reported to us was not only anti-social but potentially put other road users at serious risk, especially on a busy motorway during peak travel times,” stated Sergeant Will Willsher.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit moved swiftly to find the vehicles and implement the necessary enforcement measures. The purpose of speed restrictions is to ensure everyone’s safety, and all drivers are subject to the same laws.
The force stated that several crimes were found for investigation and that investigations are still ongoing.

After drivers reported a series of risky movements on the congested road, thirteen high-performance automobiles were seized.
The caravan joined the M11 from London at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, just as evening rush hour was beginning, according to Essex Police.
Officers were informed by witnesses that the supercars abruptly braked, bunched together, and disrupted traffic after accelerating to excessive speeds.
Additionally, drivers are accused of using the hard shoulder to pass other cars.
The convoy was tracked down by roads policing authorities at the Junction 8 services, when all 13 vehicles were impounded and each driver received an anti-social driving warning.
Lamborghinis, Audi R8s, Ferraris, and Porsches were among the vehicles in the convoy.
Many suspected violations have been identified, according to police, and investigations are still ongoing.

“The law applies equally to all road users, and speed limits are in place to keep everyone safe.”
Witnesses who spotted the convoy heading north on the M11 at the time of the incident are urged to come forward by Essex Police.
